This Irvington home was purchased by a family relocating from San Francisco. The Client wanted to minimize the disruption of the move and have their new house feel like home as quickly as possible.
What the Client needed: a comfortable family space that was light, attractive and move-in ready.

This brand new house lacked bathrooms details – toilet paper holders, mirrors, lighting and accessories.  Those details were addressed immediately.  At the same time, floor plans with placement for the Client’s existing furniture and specifications for new items were developed. Window treatments were also designed and created quickly.  An overall theme that was light, cheery, and at times playful welcomed the Client home from California!

Westchester Home Magazine titled this project “California Dreaming” and featured it in 2015.

Our project was the first time we worked with a professional designer and B Fein Interior Design exceeded expectations!

Barbara was able to quickly home in on what was important to us, from both a conceptual and an aesthetic perspective.
Barbara showed careful consideration of our budget and was consistently organized, patient with our inexperience, flexible during the design phase and on time with delivery.

My wife and I are thrilled with the results and look forward to a long relationship with B Fein Interior Design.

We give Barbara our highest recommendation!
